Both Directors Ian Kimberley and Mike Donegan have over 10 years experience in managing care homes with both nursing and residential clients and have applied their skills throughout the country managing homes on behalf of proprietors and have successfully increased the standards of care and the long term financial viability of the businesses.
Care Home Management Limited's main area of operation is managing care homes on behalf of proprietors who no longer wish to be involved in the daily running of their business but still wish to retain their capital asset and continue to take an ongoing income from that business.
'We pride ourselves on professionally managing care homes on the behalf of these proprietors who do not wish to become involved in the day to day running of their business. By guiding the full time management team to meet agreed targets for performance and by ensuring that the home continues to meet the agreed standards of care we are able to demonstrate to the proprietor their business is safe in our hands'.
At the commencement of a new project an in depth budget and business plan is produced by CHM in conjunction with the proprietor and manager. Specific issues of concern are identified and detailed plans are developed which are tailored to improving the business which we introduce and subsequently monitor the progress. Monthly accounts and variance reports are produced and submitted to the proprietor together with a detailed monthly report on the homes performance.
CHM have also amassed a great deal of experience of managing care homes throughout the Country with poor inspection reports or worse still experiencing problems with Protection Of Vulnerable Adults (POVA) issues. By working closely with the relevant authorities CHM are able to bridge the gap by developing relationships with the Commission for Social Care Inspection (CSCI), Social Work Teams and Contracting Units and with the managers and proprietors can usually provide a route through the immediate and medium/long term problems to the benefit of all parties concerned.
